Brown Street Fiasco - 15 cop cars, 1 paddy wagon, 1 ambulance
I've been a resident at the Liberties Lofts now for 4 years. The residents at 507 Brown Street have been having the boys in blue show up at their doorstep at least 10 times a year - EASY 10 times. Some leave in cuffs ... some don't. Today, a pregnant woman was being carried away on a stretcher while two men were apparently fighting. I just want to say I was over whelmed on the response and time of the officers. However, I never ***** or moan on this site and quite frankly, it's over due...so hear it goes. Lock those monkeys up !!! Whewww. That felt good. Have a nice day. |

Everyday I'm amazed at how racist many appear on this site. Glad that felt good for you, 'Citizen Kane', to be so descriptive as to who was being locked up. |

Actually, I wasn't being racist ... I was referring to how those residents were acting like monkeys (the animal). Seriously is right ... MMM comes across racist ... ya dirty little MONKEY !! |

Besides MMM, even if it was intended to be racist, what's the difference? If they were that way, then so be it. Let racists stew in their own ignorance, and move on with your life. Pointing something like that out is the equivalent of just patting yourself on the back for making a statement...no one cares. If you're so far above them, then stay there. The only reason racism still exists is because normal people continue to validate the people guilty of it by acknowledging them. |

I live right on Brown but missed the entire thing. I heard there were like 20 people fighting. Some with do rags. Wannabe gangstahs? Also, the rear window of my car was busted last night while parked on Olive. Nothing taken just a few stones thrown at it. Random!? |

Rear windows usually aren't broken--too big---too much noise. Won't speculate as to whether or not its random. Given the events I'd call the 6th and mention what happened to your car. |

I live accross in Liberties Lofts as well. I was leaving around 7, i assume after things had died down and at that time there were four police cars parked and an ABC 6 news van. I tried to find out what happened and could not. Does anyone know what actually happened or have a news link? |
