Work outside of Ortliebs/Poplar is closed...
Does anyone know whats up with the work on Ortliebs?? Poplar was closed this am between 3rd and American...I think it may have been pavement work, but wasn't sure (and hoping for blatstein to do something with that eyesore). |

I think it may be the sidewalk being Re-Paved. This is the same spot a few weeks ago where someone slipped, cut their arm on a sideview mirror, leaving a trail of blood all the way up the block to American. The cops kicked in his door when someone called to report the blood because there was a trail leading to a house. I think that's what finally initiated the repaving which has been needed for a LOOOOONG time there. |
