Attempted Car Break In on 5th
I was driving home from work today (3:45ish) and saw a black male in a black long T-shirt and dark blue jeans attempting to break into a car with a long thin piece of metal. The car was located of 5th St. past the stop sign near the grocery store that closed down I think at Poplar or just after? I called the police immediately. The car was parked on the right side of the road and was maroon. I hope the police get him and your car is OK. He was attempted to open the passenger side door. |

It is amazing how quickly the pathetic/low-life theives come with the nice weather. What is it a spring/summer sport for them. Probably the same guy who stole my bike yesterday. I think we should handle quality of life crimes (i.e. petty theft, vandalism, etc.) with corporal punishment, it is the only way to get through to these scumbags. |
