tranformer blows at big Tower project?
I'd make a joke about living never so exciting, but... So, around 2:35 something blew over there with a short LOUD buzz, and power dropped briefly all around the vicinity. Lot's of stunned looking people around the area. Anyone see it? |

The Hancock Square dig, but from all the construction workers looking down from on high, I'd say basically right where George meets Second. |

The transformer was by the walk. Apparently Tower had maintenance guys working on the roof of the buildings in Phase 1 and 2. They seemingly thought that it was a brilliant idea to throw wires back and forth between the buildings and managed to touch a live wire. Peco is there now and p!ssed and Tower is clueless as usual as to why throwing electrical wires over live wires would cause an issue. |

You need to be careful how you title your subjects. There are a lot of Transformers fans out there that have never heard of such a performance. If you are still not with me, Transformers are also known as robots that can transform into vehicles. |

Mike--I guess I lucked out with my typo tran_former vs transformer. But you're right, some searches for tran and blow may lead here...too much disappointment. |

Michael Bay is the Bart Blatstein of cinema, and Bart Blatstein is the Michael Bay of residential development. |
