Come on Cooperman! It looks as if you are being distracted by unimportant things like work. I don't let that sort of thing distract me. What happened at the meeting yesterday or is it all top secret to old farts like me? The web site looks a bit tatty and out of date. Your problem is you have set yourself too hard a standard to live up to when the missus sends you out to work. |

TATTY and OUT OF DATE. It's a good job I'm not over sensitive or I'd resign! But apologies to anybody who wishes to complain but it is the close season and we should all be out there playing cricket. As to last night's meeting there were about 40 players there which when you consider only 1st and 2nd XV players and some BOFs like White, Reene and Wilson invited isn't at all bad. I've seen players meetings in previous years where you wouldn't have enough players for a scrum. Hopefully there is a new competitive ethic in the 1st and 2nd XVs which will see them party AFTER th ematch not before. There are a few other things from the meeting which Lee has to put before the Exec so it's best not to mention them if/until they are agreed. But I for one am optimistic for next season and I personally will do just about anything to help our great bunch of lads. London 1 in 5 years? The chase is on. and dont forget we are introducing a brand new site which is at: http://www.folkestonerugbyclub.com/index.php It's only "up" for a few more days while it's being built. At the moment there is little content but supporters can get a feel of the navigation of the site and hopefully see that we are on our way to having a site as good as any Premiership team, even the Mighty Wasps and after last Saturday can anybody not agree with that description of the second best club in the world. |

Must say I was impressed with Lee's enthusiasm and PMA (if you'd have been there you'd know what it meant  )If the 1st team and developement squad can pick up the baton and run with it, as the everybody hopes they will, then this should be a stonking season!! Just my humble opinion of course.
