The Voice of Sheffield FC
“Beautiful, Downtown Dronnie” Would you like to be known as the Voice of Sheffield FC?! Matchdays at SFC are run by a team of volunteers and there is an opening to join this band as the Voice of the Club. The emphasis of the group is enjoying themselves whilst making sure matchdays run smoothly and everyone else also has fun!. We're replacing the public address system at the BFS shortly and we're also having to replace our Announcer. This is because Bill, Ian and our Chairman, who all handled the Mike so well last season, are now busy in other areas. The role is that of a friendly, welcoming announcer of teams, fixtures, news, mascots, scorers, substitutions and general information. There are helpers providing you with this info on the day. This is an opportunity to make your mark and also have an unusual entry on your CV! Generally tannoy duties start around half an hour before kick off and carry on until the match concludes. As you know, Saturday kick offs are normally 3pm whilst midweek games (usually on Tuesdays) kick off at 7.45pm If you’d like to know more please ring me on 07527 248937
