Doesn't really bother me to be honest, but it would be nice to have an announcement from the club either way, especially as last season's shirts are still available at full price from the online shop ... you wouldn't be very happy if you bought one and then they released a new one within a matter of days! |

I asked someone at the club who is in the know and they confirmed we are going to get new shirts. Also are we changing shirt sponsors to Pirelli or have I misunderstood something? |

The club are still undecided re shirt sponsorship, a very reliable source told me they're mulling over quite a few options, Pirelli being just one of them. Macron will be the new kit suppliers. The new shirts will apparently be on display for Saturday's match.

Thanks, that's all I wanted to know. Seem to remember we were a little quicker off the mark getting them out last season, but I guess that had to do with raising our profile more throughout the 150th anniversary year. I know some people disagree with releasing a new kit every season, but this is a very important source of income, particularly at non-league level.

2007 shirts are now on sale for £20 in club shop (mostly large and XL sizes) whilst they await delivery of the new shirts. |

The new home shirts are now in the shop priced at £34.99 and 29.99 for juniors-includeslarger range of smaller sizes than previously been able to obtain. They arrived yesterday afternoon BUT for those wanting one with the new sponsor logo on these will not be available until 19th August (can be pre-ordered in the shop). Before anyone asks me I do not know who the new sponsor is- it was still under negotiation when I went on holiday . Also nice new trainer tops and Macron white polos now in stock!. |

From Adidas to Nike to... Macron?? Oh dear. Still, it looks nice from the pics on BTF. As for changing the shirts every season, it's a totally self-defeating strategy for any club outside of the Premier League's top four. If a little club like ours changes kits every summer then fewer people will buy them - simple as that. It's flawed economics. |

I think you'll find The 150th Anniversary Season Shirt was always going to be a special one off. And one I'll still be happy to be wear to games on occasion when the mood takes me!
