There will be 128 clubs in step 4 - 20 clubs in each of the two Northern Premier Division Ones and 22 in each of the other four divisions. 2 teams will move up from the Northern League (3 have applied - they are Durham City, Dunston Federation & Whitley Bay, but currently only Durham City and Whitley Bay are in a top 6 position) Only 1 team will move up from the North West Counties (currently Trafford) as it is likely that no team will be relegated to them from step 4. This is because Newcastle Blue Star will be taking voluntary relegation and therefore the one relegation spot in NP1N. |
