Flyers win 2008 East Region Awards
On Friday night it was the 2008 East Region Awards in Cambridge. The Flyers were short listed for 5 awards and we won two categories - Off-track Club of the Year and Athletics Partnership (for work with Team Beds & Luton). Andy & Louise Atherton kindly did the honours - thank you. This is fantastic news - please remember that "off-track" includes the majority of athletics clubs many of which are larger than the Flyers and been around for consdierably longer. This is one big win and the product of 20 years of effort, enthusiasm and imagination from a lot of Flyers.
