End of an era
Lads, as some of you may or may not know, I thought it was time to say that sadly, this will be my last season with Fletching Football Club!
I joined way back in 1999 with the famous 'Spice Boys' & have had an awesome time helping The Tangerine Machine to 5 promotions! Unfortunately it couldn’t end with a trophy but we did very well in 2 cup runs & came very close to glory! The season is far from over though so lets end it on a high!!
It has been a really tough decision, but due to circumstances such as living & working arrangements, I can no longer commit to the Mighty Archers!! I totally agree with some of the lads that Fletching will not move forward until training becomes a regular event, but of course I can't help with that which is another reason why I'm leaving!!
I will not be joining another Mid Sussex club, (I bleed Tangerine) so I will probably look for a local club in London or I may even take a year out! Who knows…
Anyway, in line with Barbe's party organising skills and his thoughts on a fancy dress evening, which has been suggested, I though we could have a few drinks as a bit of a farewell!! Of course, the Dinner Dance will be the big finale, but everyone loves a p*ss up!!
Cheers
Chris
P.S.. For the love of god, set me up for some goals!!

Re: End of an era
Is there any way we can persuade you to stay?? I for one will be sad to see the back of another (more) mobile (than Wolvey) midfield player....
It has to be said, after the weekend's result, I too nearly jacked it in. It left a very bitter taste in my mouth.

And so I face the final curtain.

And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
Chrissy boy you will be missed, well this is defanatly a good excuse for a **** up give you a proper send flething style, were get the end of season do out of the way and i'll organise a night out.
Good luck wherever your silky skills take you

Re: End of an era
Chrissy baby,
Seriously? But surely your dad put you on a never ending contract??
I liked barbes cut and paste Frankie lyrics, the spelling was far too good for it to have been written by him.
Seriously mate please don't do a Wolvey and come running back in 3 days! Are you certain? You sure? I for one would see it as a step backwards for the First team and a creative player who will be sorely missed.
Good luck and if you could leave us with a Pic of Celeste's **** that would be great.
Regards
A very sad Monkey!

Re: End of an era
Thanks for the generous comments lads, means a lot, but I have thought this through and its the only way forward!!
I really miss not being able to train & get fully involved in a football club, and living in London doesn't help with my commitment to Fletching! I am moving to central London in September so it would be a real mission to get back every Saturday!! I didn't want to just leave in the summer under a cloud of uncertainty, so I thought there was no time like the present!
Trust me lads, its a really really tough decision, but it has to be done! Im not really gona be around Uckfield anymore!!
Anyway, I am as motivated as ever for the rest of the season, & I can't wait for the game on Saturday! See you boys there!

Re: End of an era
Firstly i'd just like to say to Rent Boy Good luck and secondly good riddence lol only joking ! it will be a shame to see chris go, he's been a Fletching so long that he is part of the family and has help the club rise up the mid sussex league, he has also brought to the club a bird with the biggest pair of T*ts i've ever felt it will be a weight of my back tho as i've carried him for so long Duffy your comments are not needed im told to play a holding role give license to roam i would be top goal scoring midfielder and top of assists just as i was last season !! i am the best player to ever grace fletching turf and you guy are lucky to have played a long side me

Re: End of an era
how we get onto the subject of celeste's breasts again is amazing, all i have to say on the subject is if we all leave at the same time there will still be room left on her ample breast. Celeste will be missed more than Chris i think lol except from Duffy

Re: End of an era
Rent boy i'll be playing til i drop dead, me and Nails are old school,
And as for not having a chance with celeste we've all had to turn her down mate out of respect for your dad, its not fair to have a son thats the laughing stock of the team(well more than you already are )
" im glad celeste has a sense of humour ?!! well she must have going out with you chrissy "
but enough about that lets look forward to giving you a good send off and Barbster needs to get his finger out and sort out a corker of a night ! one we can all look back on for years to come

Re: End of an era
Well Rent Boy, I must say that I did hear a certain rumour that you may be packing it in. I know for certain that it is down to travelling commitments, as you are Fletching through and through, demonstrating your loyalty when you could so have easily gone to play for Uckfield Town with most of your mates.
I must say it has been a pleasure to play alongside you (yes for most of you that don’t remember, back in the day I did used to be a midfield dynamo!) and in the same team. We go back a long way with Fletching when they were just starting out in division eight.
No doubt you will be missed around The Recreation Ground, and of course you will always be welcome back in a playing and/or supporting capacity (despite what Wolvey may say!!). I am sure you will be back to cheer on the mighty Archers when your time allows.
All the best mate

Re: End of an era
I know young Chris is upset he is leaving the Tangerine Machine, but I have had him scouted a number of occasions this season & I know he can slot into midfield alongside Gerrard no problem!
Buena suerte & Adios!!
