Peasmarsh & Iden fail to beat the mighty archers

With a long away trip down to Peasmarsh head and a host of players missing it was time to get busy on the phone and Barbes done well to produce a top class keep for the day, but Wolvey came up trumps with new signing Stuart Douglas and James "Glasgow kiss" Bonella making their archers debuts. Pete Burchett has at last shown that he is getting back to the player we all know he can be with 2 stunning strikes that left the oppo's manager bemoaning the shooting drill he gave us in training the other week, what he didn't know was Burchett has always had that in his locker it’s the 1 on 1's that earned him the nick name barndoor. with fletching 2-0 up and looking to play the new system that manager Rhys(I buggered off just after half time to watch Gillingham)Williams is trying to employ this season, wing wizards Yts and titch were getting forward at every opportunity to support lone striker Barndoor Burchett.
with the withdrawal of Forrest Gump Funnell at half time and the introduction of James “I get my kit of in all the local papers” Bonella the system seemed to be not the well oiled machine it was in the first half and peasmarsh's new 4-2-4 formation and long ball over the top tactics turning our defence at will the soon levelled at 2-2 only for the folically challenged Dowding to burst through and score just before the end making it 3-2 to the mighty archers
