Will QDKs work with QP/C 3.5.00?
Will the currently available QP Development Kits (QDKs) work with QP/C 3.5.00? I'm asking because the information tables for almost all the QDKs show QP Version 3.3.00. Thanks, Rocco |

As you will notice on the quantum-leaps.com website, the release number 3.5.00 has been bumped all the way up to 4.0.00. Please note that the release 4.0.00 is actually different from 3.5.00. I apologize for this momentary confusion, but it has to do with the book editing cycle, which is not under my control. The short answer to your question is that the 3.x-level QDKs will *not* work right away with QP 4.0.00. The changes requires are very simple, but they cannot be accomplished automatically with a “compatibility layer”. In the coming days and weeks you’ll see all QDKs upgraded to level 4.0.00.
