Using TENS with prenatal patients
I am trying to find any research on pain management using TENS with prenatal patients. I currently have a prenatal patient that has been in multiple motor vehicle accidents, diagnosed with firbromyalgia, and chronic pain. she is on high doses on loritab. If it is safe a proven, I would rather have her using a TENS unit instead of narcotics or at least decrease amounts of pain meds.
