What is the drug most commonly used for this type of pain. |

The two most common drugs used are amitriptyline and gabapentin

Hi. There are really good guidelines on the management of Neuropathic Pain being launched by CREST in the next few weeks. This provides 1st & 2nd line therapies together with dosaging, SEs etc. Just in case CREST is the Clinical Resource Efficiency Support Team - something similar to NICE. |
