Suitable text book?
Hi I'm new to the 'pain business' can anyone suggest a good general reference/text book (? pocket sized)that I could use? Thanks, Jayne |

Re: Suitable text book?
Depends to an extent on whether you work acute/chronic/palliative etc. If you are hospital based and seeing a bit of all sorts I would strongly recommend this one (click on link below): Churchill's Pocketbook of Pain (Churchill Pocketbooks) (Paperback) by Catherine F. Stannard (Author), Sara Booth (Author) It covers just about everything, and is smaller than a BNF (so pocket sized) Glenn |

I'd second Glenns vote for the above book. Napp were giving away complimentary copies a while back (same as the amazon version - but with their logo on the front) I got one of those, and have found it invaluable. HH |
