http://judgegeorgegreer.com/docs/M%20Schiavo%20Direct%20Test%20012400.TXT 13 A I did not wait. I met you in the 14 beginning of 1996, I believe. I was talking to 15 another attorney. 16 Q Well, okay. I have to caution you not 17 to testify as to any communication you might have 18 with your attorney because of attorney/client 19 privilege. Let me ask it this way. Did you seek 20 to put into motion your decision to remove the 21 feeding tube before the petition was filed in May 22 of 1988 (sic)? Direct testimony of mike by felos |

Pg. 115 of Michael's Book "At my first meeting with George Felos, I told him that I wanted to carry out Terri's wishes." Clearly, Michael Schiavo is not being truthful here. In his book, he attempting to script the fact that his mom's death prompted him to go ahead with removal of Terri Feeding tube. This seems to be inaccurate, and this was certainly not Michael's first meeting with George Felos as he tries to present in his book. In fact Michael was convertly involved with Felos well before in mom's death and as early as 1995. This is definitely supported on what he testfied to in the 2000 trial. 2000 trial 13 A I did not wait. 23 THE COURT: You keep saying '88. 24 MR. FELOS: '98. Thank you. 25 Your Honor. 71 1 Q (By Mr. Felos) When did you make the 2 decision and start putting it in motion? 3 A In 1995. End of 1995. I am willing to bet the other attorney was Debbie Bushnell. Addition according to Bushnell, Felos was well involved in the matter before Michael's Mom's death. This supported by the letter she wrote to Judge Mark Shames in May of 1997 indicating the parents would have to be notified of the tube removal (probably in accordance to the 1996 court order). This also seems to be proof that Michael was guilty of the mismanagment of Terri's trust fund as he was asking the court for fees needed to employ legal consel to end her life. http://judgegeorgegreer.com/docs/bushnell0514... It seems that probably took quite abit of time to get all of their ducks in the row. It gets worse in that Felos was involved even as far back as late 1995: Bushnell contacted Felos by phone Dec. 13, 1995, asking for "assistance with analysis of life-prolonging procedures statute ... ." They talked for half an hour, at a cost to Terri's trust fund of $82.50. It seems that Michael's Mom's death did little to convince Michael to consider removing Terri's feeding tube. At best it might have provided Michael with some soul searching. But, clearly he was in the process of going through with it well before his mom' death. Claire Schiavo died in July of 1997 but even Michael couldn't get that right a says June of 1997 in his book. |

In September of 1995, The Schindlers ended their fight in the first guardianship battle. Shortly after that, Terri had another UTI. Once again, Michael tried to refuse treatment to Terri. Again, the nursing home stepped in and stopped him. Michael then went to Deb Bushell, then George Felos entered the picture. Bushnell contacted Felos by phone Dec. 13, 1995, asking for "assistance with analysis of life-prolonging procedures statute ...." They talked for half an hour, at a cost to Terri's trust fund of $82.50. In 1996, Bushnell obtained permission from Judge Pinick to seal the annual financial reports from Terri's parents. She also asked him to deny the Schindlers copies of the annual reports on Terri's care and information about her medical condition, but Pinick didn't go that far. He ruled that the parents were to be notified of any change in Terri's condition and that treatment would have to be given for any illness for at least five days. In February 1997, Bushnell phoned Schiavo "re: associating George Felos to handle removal of life support issue" at a cost to Terri of $54. On March 5, 1997, Schiavo signed a contract with Felos "to represent him in connection with the withdrawal and/or refusal of medical treatment ..." at the rate of $195 an hour, with costs to be "borne by the client." In mid-April, Bushnell petitioned the court in Michael Schiavo's name for permission to employ and pay George Felos "for representation in connection with the issue of withdrawal and/or refusal of medical treatment," at the rate of $195 an hour. With the petition, Bushnell submitted a formal order she had prepared for Judge Mark Shames to sign, authorizing the hiring of Felos. At this point, she hit a temporary roadblock: the order signed by Judge Thomas Pinick a year earlier that Terri's parents were to be notified in case there was a change in her medical condition. Shames returned Bushnell's prepared order stamped "NOT SIGNED," with a note handwritten on it that Terri's parents needed to be told about this. http://judgegeorgegreer.com/docs/bushnell0514 ... Finally on August 20, 1997, the Schindlers recieved a letter from George Felos indicating that Terri's life would be ended in due time. |

What's even more was according to Michael's book, Felos told Michael to ask around to see who might have known about Terri's wishes. Where were Scott and Joan? Felos also sent a letter to Bob Schindler in 1997 informing him that he was going to remove Terri's feeding tube in due time. Felos stated that at the present time he was performing an investigation into who might know of Terri's wishes. Where were Scott and Joan? When GAL Pearse came on to the scene, GAL Pearse asked Michael the big question: "Were there others who knew of Terri's wishes?" Michael's answer was "No". It was only after after GAL Pearse reported that Michael was conflict both financially and personally (Terri's death would allow Michael to get own with his life; he would be free to marry Jodi) and that Michael's desire was conflicted to to fact that waited 8 years to submit his petiton after giving a testimony in the Mal Trail that he was going to take care of Terri fot the rest of his life. Pearse believed the actions he was taking were completely contradictory to this sworn testimony. Suddenly, Scott and and Joan come on to scene and announce they know Terri's wishes. |

James, I believe there is a document in the Pinellas County Court house that shows he got paid from Terri Money the first time in 1995. At the time he consulted with Bushnell on the Terri Schiavo case. |

Something else. Michael Schiavo's mom's name is Clara.[Not Claire.] That's how it is on the death certificate, and other documents on record at the Pinellas County Courthouse.
