Michael Schiavo Can or Can't Remember?
Michael was asked "When was the last time you saw her before her collapse on February 25, 1990?" Michael answered " The last time I saw her?" "Yes, sir." Michael answered" The 24th." "What time of day did you see her on the 24th?" Michael Schiavo answered "Late at night." The questions and answers were taken from Michael Schiavo's NOVEMBER 5, 1992 Testimony. In order for Michael Schiavo to have seen Terri"late at night" on February 24th He would have had to come home before midnight. He also states that he worked from 10:00 in the morning to 10:00 or 11:00 at night. So, in order to have seen Terri "late at night" on February 24th, he,if he had went to work, would have seen Terri between 10:00PM and 12:00 midnight. November 2,2003: The Schindlers say that on Feb. 25, 1990, Mrs. Schiavo told her brother that she and Mr. Schiavo had had a violent argument -- a claim Mr. Schiavo denies. Mr. Schiavo has said his wife was asleep when he arrived home from work around 2 a.m. In the one interview that he granted recently, on ''Larry King Live,'' he said that he awoke at 4:30 and heard a thud. It was his wife, whom he found on the floor, he said. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9F02E4DF1030F931A35752C1A9659C8B63&sec=health&spon=&pagewanted=all By the time I climbed the stairs to our fourth-floor apartment, my tux jacket wasoff and I'd begun unbuttoning my shirt. It was somewhere between 12:30 and 1:00 A.M. when I let myself in, knowing that Terri would be sound asleep.[Michael Schiavo, Terri The Truth, page 2] The first two guys saw Terri on the floor as they came into the apartment. They both knelt down next to Terr, who was laying there in a tank top and sweatpants.[Michael Schiavo, Terri the Truth, page 4] How was she dressed? A. She had a night shirt on with pants, with -- Q. Underpants? A. I think they were sweat pants. Q. Oh, okay. Sweat pants? A. Yeah. Q. Was the night shirt something she would have slept in? A. Yes. Yeah. Q. How about the sweat pants? A. She slept in them. Q. She slept in sweat pants and a nightshirt? A. Oh, yeah. Q. Okay. It's cold in February, oh, yeah. A. It's cold Q. So that would have been her sleeping attire? A. Some nights, yes. [Michael Schiavo's deposition, July 27, 1992,pages 100-101] Now, you know, not only is Michael Schiavo bad with dates but also he has lapses of memory when it comes to giving details of the night his wife collapsed for no apparent reason. Time does have a way of dulling memories but Michael Schiavo, his brother, and his sister-in-law swore under oath ,eight yrs after Terri collapsed, that they remembered, yrs prior to Terri collapse, Terri saying she wouldn't want to live with a feeding tube. |

Janice Why do you continue your attempts to discredit and vilify Michael Schiavo? What real evidence can you and the others produce that would justify your continued actions? Terri is with God, the courts had ended, the Schindlers lawyers, the supporting professional, and the mad dog media did not and could NOT produce real evidence. Why does the anti-choice supporter continue? Vindictiveness! |

Michael Schiavo doesn't need help discrediting himself .He has done a great job of showing himself to be a lier. You mean besides the fact that Michael Schiavo can't remember anything, and if he makes a statement concerning Terri's collapse and/OR her case, he always says 'don't hold me to that. You know I already told you I'm not good with time and dates."Only a hypocrite would use God's name to excuse the deliberate killing of Terri Schiavo. The thing is Michael Schiavo knows what really happened to Terri. Maybe it was an accident. Maybe he had to much to drink at the bar he worked at? But he knows. Do you really think any smart person is buying into the pro-deathers claim of no evidence? And why are you being a butt wipe for Michael Schiavo? |

May be Michael did something to Terri, may be he didn't. One thing is for sure, Michael has not told the true and honest story of what happen that night. |

The only evidence that Judge Greer found convincing was the word of Michael's brother and sister-in-law. They said nothing to him for the first nine years? It was after the first GAL that they came forward to give weight to his claim. During those nine years, there were more people who stated he didn't know what what to do, that they never discussed anything like that etc. Fran Cassler is one of those people and he listed her on his guardianship papers as a close personal friend. He went back in time and out of state to find someone to back up his claim. When the second GAL found his relationship with Jodi was a conflict of interest and he could inherit, he stated on national tv they had no intent to marry and that the money was gone.(records sealed as were the records of the Prudential case). When Wolfson suggested tests with a predetermined outcome, they skated with the excuse that they were challenging the Terri Law. It was legal and proper as relates to the challenge but again just skated around Terri herself. You posted that the courts decide who decides but they do not make the decision. Judge Greer ordered she not be fed anything orally, Michael said he had difficulty accepting the courts ruling allowing him to remove the tube.(difficulty after fighting to do just that?) The court also gave the order of when it was to be removed. It would seem that Judge Greer made more decisions than Michael Schiavo or anyone else in the case. |
