Questions
How many guardians of person and property can one ward have? And. If Terri didn't have any money left in 2002, why did Alison Carpeter have to put up $250,000 in order to be Terri's guardian? And. Why did have to be reappointed in 2002? And. Who was guardian of the first trust? And. Why was the $250,000 settlement divided up, and then added back to the $2,000,000 settlement?

Sorry. Why did Alison Carpenter have to be reappointed in 2002?

These are interesting questions. We do not know how much Michael or Felos profitted from Terri's death. The finance records have been sealed by Judge Greer. It is worthy to note however, that months after Terri's death (around August of 2005) Felos petitioned the court from the receipt of nearly half a million dollars from Terri's estate for his legal services. It unknown on whether Felos actually got this money. http://www.michaelschiavo.org/docs/Felos_Claim_Aug_2005.pdf Now if Felos and Michael claimed there was no money left (or very little; less than $50,000) for Michael to inherit, why was Felos petitioning Terri's estate for nearly half a million dollars? A very interesting question indeed! |

That's an interesting document, James. But apparently it was never put in the records. I can't find it. Also, it has no book/page number that I can see.. |
