Perhaps I am old too, but the shirts do grow on you, and now that I have done it a few times, I do not feel so much of a prat as I did the first few times I walked into the pub wearing mine . Although I am not sure if Tom is taking the Michael when he refers to them reflecting the team etc. Loud, aggressive and brash? Not the Black Swan C surely! Craig, perhaps, but not the rest of us. Restrained, quiet, subtle and subdued all spring to mind. Those words describe us, not the shirts. Next year, other teams will have lary tops too, I would bet. Trend setters, we are (as Yoda would put it).
whats wrong with the shirts? ok so tom said he would get us "Haiwian" shirts but you know age might be catching him up. Still we come together as a team full of different characters. Tommy C, el capitano and lightning quick with three arrows. Stevie (fatboy) Anderson, mister 180 this season. Mark O, (silent assassin)seems to always get drawn against Vera. Craig (calm down) never misses an opportunity to give a little sorry big shout. Myself Pud, slower than a snail but i win look at the stats. Simon (the Saint) quiet gets on with the job. Richard newest member refuses to wear team shirt but we are working on that. come on the blue opps sorry black. SUCK THEIR EYES OUT !
these shirts are like gold-dustnow, it would probably cost the economy of a small carribean country to buy one now. People have to turn their eyes away, in case they are blinded by the beauty of the shirt.
Well played the pair of you. Lucky shirts or what?
I thought LOL meant 'lots of love' and hence my thought that Ando was getting a bit personal with Tommy C, though after the way Tom scraped the pair of you through some of the early rounds on Friday, perhaps Ando owes Tom something.
Wait until you see next year's shirts, with matching shorts, knee-high socks, sandals and knotted hankies on the head.
thanks very much boys, but I think we did not too bad as a pair. Liz was hearing the comments from people sitting near her and they were very complimentary.
