We're thinking about signing up my son Spencer (5th grade at Oak Knoll) for the Mavericks swim team program at Menlo Swim&Sport (next to Burgess center), but we have afterschool transportation issues because both of us work full-time. Are there any families in or considering that program who are interested in carpooling a couple of times per week after school (especially other Newton Afterschool Center families)? I don't know the level/schedule yet, but suspect it would be in the 3:30-4:30 timeframe. We wouldn't be able to drive there from school more than 1x/week, but would be available for pickups more often
