I visited NYC for the first time with my ten year-old grandson this summer. The highlight for me was Central Park and visiting the "Strawberry Fields" memorial. Astonishingly, it has been thirty-two years since I woke in Hay River, NWT, to the news that John Lennon was gone. A feeling of loss and sadness was overwhelming as I walked the Fields... this song came to me during that moment of reflection.
