I have just received a phone call from Celia and Jimmy, Due to the sudden white-out conditions at Baltree today, They have Decided for Health and Safety reasons to cancel the arranged hound walk tomorrow 3rd January 2010 at Pittencreiff Park, Dunfermline. They send their sincere apologies to everyone who intended to come along tomorrow

Probably a good idea as speaking from our experience Lunar and (especially) Solo do not like walking in the snow at all, it is a nightmare getting them to set foot outside...the fireworks over the last couple of evenings haven't helped either...

Kell and Lucy love the snow when it's fresh and crunchy underfoot, but they don't quite appreciate that the road out of our estate is like a bob sleigh run!

You're not wrong about the fire works though. Nowhere near as bad as fireworks night, but Lucy is a quivering wreck after the first one of the evening goes up.
