When we got Lucy back from the vets after her op the other week she was a bit groggy and didn't want to get up to eat anything, so we brought her food to her on her bed and she had it there. We did this happily for the next couple of days as she recovered.

Fast forward two weeks and the lazy little madam has decided that this eating from the comfort of your own bed lark is far preferable to standing in the kitchen and eating from the doggy table with Kell. She now comes through to the kitchen, looks at her bowl, looks at us, wags her tail and disappears off to her bed only reappearing if her idiot human slaves haven't brought her dinner through!!!
