I have walked a few greys recently and noticed they don't have the smell typical of dogs? Is that true or maybe it was a pure coincidence? If it is true that is their great asset as some people simply don't like it. That would make them great pets for nearly everyone!

You are quite correct. The greyhound does not smell like other longer coated breeds. Wow, their mouths can smell though if their teeth are not attended to regularly.

This is very true. When we first got quincy, his breath was almost as smelly as his farts hehe. But after his scale and polish at the vets it is not smelly at all apart from after his sardines. He gets his teeth cleaned every night though which he loves.
