Pictures From Forth Bridge Sponsored Walk By the Conn Family!
Greyhound Rescue Fife would like to thank everyone who contributed to make the walk a success that it was. A big thank you must also go to the volunteers at Baltree which are as important because the Kennels have to run as normal during all the publicity and awareness events.
The pictures give you a idea of what it was like for the walkers and the hounds.
These dogs are amazing how they can take on new challenges like walking across the busy Forth road bridge without a problem.
On behalf of our resident hounds at Baltree Kennels thanks for helping make their stay in our kennels comfortable and safe.

Hi Guys,
Sorry that we haven't posted earlier, but we've finally got on the computer.
It was a magic walk across the bridge in perfect weather. Everyone seemed to enjoy it well.
Thanks to everyone who turned up, especially all those raising sponsor money and to those who stayed and did all our work at the kennels.
Special thanks goes to Robert Conn for the great photographic record of the walk. Well done indeed Robert. Thanks also to George and Morag for putting the photos on our forum and coming all that distance to help at the kennels.
A very special thanks indeed goes to Bert McCurdy, who, single handed raised £370 in sponsor money for the walk. £123 per mile Bert - absolutely brilliant.
A big thanks too to Nic, Karen and Fraser for raising £44.20 for the walk.
While we are thanking people a special thanks goes to the tireless Kate who collected, did boot sales, raised sponsor money and personally saved to raise a total of £164.96. Mammoth effort Kate - the dogs all say thank you.
Michele too has raised £128 already from her beautiful calendars. If you don't have one you'd better get one quickly before they have gone. Thanks for your very hard work in producing the beautiful calendars Michele.
Nobody thanks the above people more than our dogs. Without your great work we couldn't survive. It will also help a possible mammoth vet's bill for poor little Foxy who came in with a badly broken hock.
We thank you all very much on behalf of the homeless hounds.
Celia and Jimmy.

Hi Agnes,
Not a very technical explanation but you could imagine it as the sort of elbow or knee joint in the back leg.
Sorry for the daft explanation.
Best wishes,
Jimmy.
