Today at the kennels volunteer Rachael Sikora drew the winning ticket in our giant Christmas hamper raffle. The ticket belonged to Ellie Bradford, Fiona and Scott's daughter. Congratulations Ellie.
The raffle raised £468 for GRF. This is an out of the world sum and we thank all who helped - especially Bert McCurdy who sold £180 worth of tickets.
We especially thank Anne Connerty who supplied us with the hamper in the first place. Anne - this means that you have supplied all our dogs with food for quite some time. Thank you on behalf of our dogs, you are a star.

Many thanks to everyone who donated gifts to this marvellous hamper. Thanks to Kate and her family who hand delivered the hamper to Ellie this evening. She is only 9, so Scott & I will try our best to drink the alcohol for her ! She was very pleased with the mugs and greyhound tshirt, & sweeties and biscuits are always a hit in this house.
Scott is stuck working offshore just now but hopefully he'll be back on Monday, and we will have round 2 of xmas dinner, so lots of the items will come in handy, especially the extra crackers, the twins love them, but Duke is not so keen.
Anyway thanks again to everyone who contributed to make it a hamper well worth winning as well as raising a fantastic amount for the dogs.
