Looking for help here. I am planning on walking the Great Glen Way this year either end of April or end of May (probably the latter) and the plan is/was to book a cottage or something about halfway (i.e. around Fort Augustus) as we will get picked up at the end of each day. Although I have found quite a few nice accommodations that take dogs unfortunately it is generally just “1 small” dog !!!! And unfortunately our “2” don’t come into either category!!

Does anyone know therefore of somewhere in this area that can accommodate approx 4-5 adults plus 2 greyhounds? If you know of somewhere or even have a holiday home yourself near this area then please feel free to get in touch.

Hi there-we stay at a wonderful place in Spean bridge who welcome dogs its called Tirindrish house they have two bungalows and a cottage for rent-dont know if this is near enough for you-its a lovely estate and the owners are v nice-just type the name into google.

You can have a look at the websites, especially the bottom one would be suitable for pets, I think.

It's just getting somewhere that will take 2 dogs most that I have been in touch with only allow 1 and even then they stipulate a small dog !!!

Try Cottages4u, we have booked 3 different cottages through them, all have been excellent. The website states whether properties allow 1 2 or 3 dogs, your choice for 2 should be quite a few with them, I found my choice restricted when booking our Feb holiday as we now have 3 !
