Our Greyhound Suzie, had a nice shiny coat a few weeks ago but it is now very flaky. Started at the top of her tail but is now right up to her collar as well and also some behind her ears. She is perfectly happy in every other way and is not distressed or off her food. Is this anything to do with her shedding a winter coat and if so how long will it last.
our lad done that when we got him and we found that he just wasnt settled into his routine and when he settled down it disapeared we only have him on dry food and hes been fine ever since, she could be a bit stressed out the now or it could be the heat afecting her
Bailey used to be bothered by a flaky coat and we've been giving him evening primrose oil capsules with his food, which you get in pet shops. We also brush him daily and use an aloe vera spray, which all appears to help and his coat is now flake free and very glossy!
Hi Guys,
It's a time of year when dogs cast their winter coats. Maybe it could clear up on its own. We have this often with the kennel dogs.
