Hi Folks.
We've agreed to make GRF a branch of the Retired Greyhound Trust.
This means that we will keep 15 RGT dogs in our kennels, the rest being GRF dogs. This will allow us to kennel nearly 50 rescued greyhounds.
It does not mean that GRF is now RGT, it simply means that we will keep some of their dogs and get assistance from them.
It will ensure that GRF will last for many years as a greyhound rescue centre.
The new dogs will arrive in two weeks.

I think this is a good initiative for GRF. When I lived in Essex, I was involved with Clarks Farm greyhound rescue (where Kim and Dylan came from) and they were affiliated to the RGT. Clarks Farm very much kept their own identity but the resources of RGT were available for them to tap into and they had a dedicated RGT representative.
