One of my parents previous dogs had a penchant for gooseberries too!!! She took an interest in the rhubarb bush too, but with less success

I've lost all my (few) strawberries to Bryn - he always seems to spot the ripe ones just before I do!
He also loves raspberries and most other fruit & veg. I tried him with a wild gooseberry on the lane last night and he mouthed it a bit, put it down, then scoffed it, so I guess he'd love the cultivated ones.
If dogs had to fend for themselves, I reckon greyhounds would do just fine!
