I have to go away for a couple of days in September and i cannot take my babies (Brhea and Sonic) with me, does anyone know of any suitable boarding.... I hate the thought of leaving them in a kennel.

There is apparently a lady somewhere around Dundee (I dont know where you are based?) who looks after dogs alongside her own dogs and seems to specialise in greyhounds/lurchers but I dont have any details it was people along the road that had talked about her - I will ask them if I see them and get back to you if I find anything out. I presume that it is Sonic that was in the kennels that you have?I adored him when I met him so give him a big hug from me please!!lol x

If you can find out, that would be fab. My daughter (Jenny) and i helped out at Union Farm when they had the greyhounds. Thats where we fell in love with our wee boy Sonic. He is a super duper boy who likes nothing more than a trip in the car, his dinner, and then lying on his back in his bed with his tongue hanging out... not a lot to ask

Dont know if ur still looking for someone but I managed to find out about the lady who looks after dogs that I mentioned.Her name is Liana and she is located just outside Dundee (just at the back of Fintry if you know the area at all)She has her own hounds (all of whom are female I think) and she takes the dog/s for a trial day to see how they all get on.Some query as to how happy she is to take male dogs but if urs are ok with other dogs then personally I think she will fall in love with Sonic!! the lady comes highly recemended from a couple who have a lovely lurcher (who is on holiday with the lady at present!)so she may be worth giving a call - Ive got her number but I dont really want to put it up on here as it is a public forum and I dont know how she would feel about that?
