Companion Care Vets based within Pets at Home Stirling have invited GRF along to their first birthday party on Saturday the 20th Aug 2011 – 10am to 4pm.

To celebrate, they are offering the chance to see around the surgery area, free pet advice, a pet workshop for kids, face painting and a free goody bag. And could your dog win the Fancy Dress Competition also being held that day... Come along and find out.

You will be able to meet some of the homeless hounds, see our information table and the GRF merchandise, which helps raise funds for the kennels. Also on show we will have a folder full of all the gorgeous greyhounds just waiting for their forever home.

If you have a Greyhound or a Lurcher, come along, give us your support and lets show everyone how these magnificent dogs make the most amazing loving pets.

Celia and Jimmy would like to thank Bert and Irene and Steve and Julie for working very hard shifts today at Companion Care's birthday party.
Not only did they spread the word far and wide about how great dogs the greyhounds are, but, in the process raised £182 for the GRF homeless greyhounds.
