Well that's the end of my first day of volunteering at the centre and i'd just like to thank Celia and Jimmy and the rest of the gang for making me feel so welcome. I'd like to recommend volunteering to anyone who cares about the welfare of these animals......so if you are having a browse through this forum, as i did, then just bite the bullet and give it a go, you wont be disappointed. The centre, and most importantly the dogs need all the help they can get so go on.....give them a ring and pop in for a visit.

Both celia and Jimmy need a medal for what they have done and are doing at the kennels.I have been helping out up at the kennels for around 2 years and love it.
Even if you can just spare a couple of hours a week. That couple of hours means that a few extra hounds get to have an extra cuddle or a brush.
