FRANKIE.

Hi Folks, isn't he lovely? He is barely 7 months old and a wonderful little guy. You won't find him on Please Choose Me. Why not? Poor little FRANKIE has a liver shunt. This means that his liver is being bypassed. What can be done about it? We are trying a medical solution. He can only eat a special Hills diet food. Anything else could be dangerous for him, in spite of him trying to eat everything in sight. It is almost impossible for him to put on weight. This medical attempt has a slight chance of correcting the problem. If it fails, he must have a very complicated operation to correct the problem. His chances of survival are poor. If he does survive the operation it is unlikely that he will reach old age. We are devastated since he is a very happy, loving wee chap. He is pleased to see everybody. We all love him to bits. He has to have his medication throughout the day so our angel Susan has taken him home to look after him. He is living with his new girlfriend SOX.

Lots of prayers are required.

Re: FRANKIE.

Re: FRANKIE.

Havent recovered from the last one Esther!! only kidding isnt He a wee soul?

Re: FRANKIE.

Hi Guys,
An update on wee Frankie.
He is on the medical diet and has actually put on some weight, which is good news. The vet is very pleased with his progress. If this worked he'd be on the special diet for the rest of his life, no special treats
This would mean that he didn't require a special dangerous operation.
He is looking more like a puppy now but can still pull that sad expression when he wants something.
Hope it keeps up.
Celia and Jimmy.

Re: FRANKIE.

Hi Guys,
Little Frankie was very ill today today but, thanks to Trish and Calum force feeding him with a horse syringe, which Trish obtained, he picked up a bit and got some blended food inside. When Chris came in at night he nibbled a small amount of his own accord.
He is a dear little soul.
