A group of very kind people are doing something amazing for GRF. They are walking the Fife coast from Kincardine Bridge to Newburgh, a distance of 115 miles - - - - yes, 115 miles.
They are making this a sponsored walk with all sponsorships going to help our homeless greyhounds. The walk starts on Saturday 30th March and will finish on Thursday 4th April.
There are sponsorship forms in the kennels but obviously many people won't know that this is happening. At the moment sponsorships are very low for such an immense effort so we are saying that if you would like to sponsor the walk, just get in touch with us or come along to the kennels.
We feel that such a huge effort deserves a good response.
The heroic six people doing the walk are Graham Smart, Evelyn Scobie, Jane Sanderson, Irene Duncan, Angela Campbell and Morag Laing.
We wish all six a very pleasant, blister free walk and thank them all for their fantastic efforts.

If everyone got a sponsor sheet and tried to get sponsers then it will be a great success, it doesnt matter how much each individual gets on their sheet,the point is that we are all trying to help the plight of these magnificient dogs and this cant always be left to Celia and Jimmy.
We can all take a sheet to our places of work and if we dont get any money at least we have tried and it gives you the opportunity to tell people of the work that goes on at Greyhound Rescue Fife.
Sponsor sheets are still available at the kennels ,the walk doesnt finish till 4th APRIL ,SO COME ON GRF SUPPORTERS DONT LEAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE TO DO
