Do you take the measurement for the coat by measuring from middle of neck to root of tail? I want to order 2 for Archie and Grace and I just want to make sure Im measuring them correctly!

Measure from where the neck meets the back(front of shoulders) to the root of the tail,the three sizes I have are 26" 28" 30"
