Just been reading the STV News website and see that deer are being hunted and killed, before being butchered and sold on the black market, in the Fife area

The Police are looking for, quote, "people walking in fields with big dogs, like greyhounds, possibly walking far apart."

Of course it's the horrible humans, and not the dogs who are to blame here, but it really doesn't help our cause.

Given that this is going on in Fife, please be aware of it .......

Heard this from friends of ours the other day - apparently the culprits are trying to sell venison door to door - decent people would daub them in! Also be aware that dog fighting is allegedly also rife - especially around the Oakley area in Fife. A chap in the post office said someone tried to steal his wee Staffie bitch from outside the Subway take away in Dunfermline where he left her whilst he went in. Fortunately he saw and confronted the perpetrator who promptly made a run for it. Perish to think what would have happened to her if he had gotten away with it.
