WARNING ..... POISON PARSNIP (aka Hemlock Water Dropwort)
HEMLOCK WATER DROPWORT (otherwise known as Poison Parsnip) ...
There have been reports of dogs dying after eating the above. It is most usually found on marshy areas, or on the banks of waterways. This is a toxic weed, the most poisonous in the UK.
Please take extra care when walking your dog, that he / she does not eat any of this - you can ensure the safety of your dog by not letting it off its lead, and by paying special attention to areas of concern.
There have, so far, been reports from Broughty Ferry and Loch Lomond.
