One of my friends, on Facebook, tells me that there have been a number of dog thefts, and attempted dog thefts, in the East Lothian area over the past week or so

The Police are aware of this.

If these criminals know that there is a dog in the house, they are leaving a coloured sticker on the gate and coming back later to try and steal the dog from, say, the garden.

The majority of these dogs are, sickeningly, apparently being stolen as dog-fighting fodder .... I find it completely incomprehensible that people can do this but, sadly, in this world it DOES happen

Someone, outside a pub, offered Mo £10 for Bootsie last week ... you can imagine her response !!!!!!!!!!

Don't want to frighten people, but please be aware of this and be alert as to where your dog is.
