Do any of you use Advantix flea/tick treatment on your hounds? I've been advised to use this but just wanted to know other opinions as I've only had experience of Frontline.

Frontline£27.53 6 pack 20-40kg
the same chemical make up (Fiprinol)
looked at Advantix and you need a prescription for this you don't need one for flevox

We have used Advantix before (on our x-collie) and it is very good - kills off all the little beggars that jump on to your dog as well. Touch wood, none of my lot have ever been bothered with fleas and having suffered an infestation with our collie I hope they never do!

I'm always a bit cautious using something new so thanks for your replies.

I use it regularly on my two lurchers, Pamela, particularly as we spend time up north. So far so good as far as beasties are concerned, including ticks, and no ill effects.
