Hawk was brought in to us because his Daddy could no longer keep him. He is a lovely
boy but the greyhounds thought his hair was too long.
Enter a very kind lady, Angela Teven, who runs 'The Hair Off The Dog' dog and cat grooming parlour, to give him a free groom to increase his chances of getting a new home. Here is Hawk before Angela started.
Angela and her good friend Esther Steele started work transforming the big boy into a dog ready to star in a Hollywood production.
After a while out came this handsome chap after grooming.
Isn't he the most gorgeous dog now?
We'd like to thank Angela very much for her services. If you wish to contact her she can be found at:

Incidentally, here is how much hair that Hawk had taken off. Jimmy is trying to stick it on his head.
Hawk looks very handsome after his 'hair-do' and it's taken years off him!
Tricky cross to guess at - could also be bearded-collie x wolfhound, or many other things . He's just gorgeous, anyway.
We look forward to hearing the new 'Hawkwind' concert!!
I am NOT coming near the kennels until that boy is re homed...I had a deerhound cross lurcher and loved him to bits
I would not trust myself not to put in the back of the car.
