Have discovered this morning (after shutting the girls in the bedroom with me) that it is Mikey who has been having the frequent accidents lately - completely out of character. Very pungent today too so we're off to the vet late afternoon. All I have to do now is get a specimen before then - shame I won't have anyone around to video it lol. Should be fun.........
Not really any further forward with Mikey. He's had the works with blood and pee tests, kidney function is elevated but nothing drastic found. He's to be on antibiotics for 2 weeks and assessed after that. Complete mystery, the peeing is now a daily occurrence and it is upsetting him, hopefully we'll either get to the bottom of it or things will just improve with the treatment now. If not, an ultrasound is the next step in case there is something the current tests are not picking up. Just keeping everything crossed at the minute.
Could just be a minor kidney infection, which the antibiotics should sort out, so hope that is the case. It's distressing for a clean dog to have accidents, and not much fun for you either!
