Can I recommend again desensitising your dog using a CD such as 'Fear of Fireworks'. The CD has fireworks noises on it and you start by playing it at a low volume and over a few weeks gradually increase the volume until its really loud. I've used this with my two greys and I can have them in our garden with fireworks going off in neighbours' gardens and they are totally indifferent to the noise.
