Fife Aggricultural Show

On behalf of Greyhound Rescue Fife I would like to thank Jenny Evelyn and Malcom for all their help on Saturday at the show. The day started at 7am at the kennels where we picked up Jake Bess and Daniel the dogs were amazing. We were in the Game Fair marque and much to our suprise we had the Scottish Ferret Club as neighbors after some initial interest the dogs just ignored them. Jake and Daniel spent most of the day going round the show meeting people,Bess after a circuit of the show was quite content to stay at your feet at the awareness table, where she got a lot of attention from our visitors. We had alot of interest and again spoke to many people giving cards out to any one who showed areal interest. We also had a parade around the ring to show the dogs "strutting their stuff" ,and again we thank Malcom who gave a commentary on the dogs and the work that goes on at GRF, which went out in the P A system across the Game fair area. The show finished at 5pm with 4 tired volunteers and three exhausted Greyhounds,we had £75.96 in the donation bucket. We all had a good day trying to spread the word about these fantastic dogs.

Re: Fife Aggricultural Show

Well done Bert, Evelyn, Jenny and Malcolm.

Anything that spreads the word about Greyhounds and especially GRF is fantastic.

And of course big hugs to Jake, Bess and Daniel on being so well behaved.

Celia, Jimmy and all the grateful greyhounds.

Re: Fife Aggricultural Show

It was certainly a lucky omen for Jake and Daniel going to the show, as they have been rehomed within a week! It must be your magic touch, Bert

Re: Fife Aggricultural Show

Fantastic news that Jake and Daniel have been rehomed. They were incredibly well behaved at the agricultural show. So much so I have been threatening Mac and Maisie I'll swap them for a well behaved pair. Mac rolls his eyes, he knows that's never going to happen. If Bess could get a home as well that would be so good. She was such a good girl at the show too
Fingers crossed Bess xx
