Don't worry I'm not going to continue all the way to the next show doing sleep countdowns

What an excellent day yesterday and have been looking at some excellent pictures from the show and post show (mostly sleeping dogs !!). Many of you have also left some nice comments here and on the FB page and we thanks you for those. Most people who came along yesterday will only have seen the end event but what you don't see is all the hard work and effort that goes on behind the scenes. These guys make the show what it is today and I would like to thank them all for their continued support (If I'm in for next year so are you )

The people who volunteered to come along on the day to help with the various stalls, seemed like they had been doing this for years !!! they all ran so smoothly and sold out !!!! so obviously a big thank you to you guys for giving up your time to do this, it is much appreciated and makes things easier all round. So you too are all hired again next year

To all our stall holders who contribute year on year and come along to our event thus making it a special day for everyone. We thank you and hope to welcome you all to the show again next year which will be our 10th

My final thanks before letting you know the total (the real reason why you opened this post )is to all of you who came along on the day. We can put on a grand show but if you guys don't come along then it's really been for nothing. So thank you all for your contined support and making the day special once again

After adding together our merchandise and sponsors donation to the kennels is


£2800.00 !!!!

on top of that we also got 1 dog re-homed on the day

We're away to put our feet up now and recharge the batteries for next year. Thank you all very much

I am absolutely astounded by the amount raised this year. And a houndie re homed !! Massive Congratulations to all the organisers for a job well done.👍

I was on the home baking stall with Christine and the baking was so fantastic we soon sold out. Thanks to all who contributed to our stalls, you made our job easy, same again next year please. 😁 Also, a big shout out to those that bought the goods. And also to the other volunteers, we all seemed well suited to our various roles.

There was a great atmosphere at the event and I will certainly aim to be back next year. Wouldn't it be great if we could tip the £3k mark for the 10th show ??

Well done Alex and Lynne on another successful show and raising that fantastic sum for the homeless hounds.

Wow!! What a fantastic amount raised. Well done everyone. I really enjoyed running Bert's stall and chatting to everyone.

Alex and Lynne - you have the organisation of the show so well planned - what could possibly have gone wrong (though we were getting a bit worried about the PA system on Saturday lol)

Well done to you both and to all the volunteers and helpers.

And good luck to Jake - hope you behave and have a really happy life with your new family.
