Hi Folks.
First of all I thank everybody who made our dog show such a success. I won't mention so many kind names but thanks to all.
This is actually a personal post.
I was utterly swept away by my superb birthday presents. It was a total surprise to me.
The personal number plate JF 02 GRF is fantastic. I am going to have to update my wheels very soon so guess what the registration is going to be That is a fantastic present.
Secondly, everyone who knows me knows that I am a Fife Flyers Ice hockey addict. When I saw Chic Cottrell and Freddie Wood ( two ex Flyers players who I know very well ) at the dog show I thought that Freddie had persuaded Chic to rehome a greyhound. Little did I know that they were there to present me with a framed, autographed team jersey and a photo collage of me with some of the Flyers team of 1951. This was my first ice hockey season. The photo brought back some rare childhood memories. It all made the 9th show a magic show for me.
I sincerely wish to thank everybody who kindly donated to give an old geezer a very happy day indeed. Thank you one and all.
I must specially thank Michele and Nic and Kaz and Pat for organising it all. We've also got some money for a day out so Celia and I will have a day off and a nice meal somewhere.
Thank you all for giving me a wonderful day to remember.
