Hi Folks.
You are correct - it has been a sad year, losing so many dear pets.
We are now at a sad time of our lives. In eleven years we have rehomed nearly 1000 dogs. However, three year old dogs eleven years ago are now 14 years old. We are now rehoming two dogs per week and losing two dear friends per week. We always knew we'd reach this point. Thus our happiness coming from a rehoming is tinged by our sadness from a death.
However we have to say thank you to all you good people who gave the dogs a life of happiness.
In spite of our sadness you folks have made it all so worth while for us.
Thank you one and all. We could have done nothing without you.

It was inevitable we would all eventually lose our hounds but it never makes it any easier. It is both of you that makes it possible, you should both be so proud in the knowledge almost 1000 dogs have/had loving homes due to that dedication and hard work.

Hear hear it is very sad but I think of the positive all the hounds had a loving and happy life instead of quittin racing and being dumped somewhere with no where to go I couldn't imagine life without my lovely willow would love to take more but space and time doesn't allow that here to the next 1000 xxx

It is sad and as we've lost our 2 this year, we can understand that as so many are around the same age, it's natural to have a year like this but it doesn't make it any easier. Hopefully, new homes will be found for the latest batch soon and may your wonderful work continue for years to come, Jimmy and Celia! xx
