I'm going to look at putting together a schedule for this years walks. The attendance for last years walks was a bit disappointing, so I'm thinking about moving them to the second Sunday of the month instead of the first Sunday of the month, as I think a lot of other clubs and hobbies schedule meets for the first Sunday of the month. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated.
My new job means I end up working most Sundays so there's a good chance I won't be able to lead some of the walks personally. However, my glamorous assistant, Julie should be able to step in and lead most of the walks I can't make.
Sundays aren't really good for me, Steve, although I'm sure they are best for the majority. We do try and make the nearest one (St Andrews) most years and will do so whatever the day/date.
Second sunday is no probs for most walks and and we are happy to continue doing the raffle. If anyone has anything they'd like to donate for prizes it will be most gratefully accepted.
I work alternate Sundays hence why I missed a lot of walks last year. Afraid it's a hit or miss for me so doubt a change would make much difference to me. The only Sunday I could take off last year was for the annual show.
