This is the place to chat about your rescued Greyhound.
Primary 7 at Kirkcaldy West Primary School were given a project to do. They had to start a business with £300 funds and try to make a profit while keeping books. Britain is safe in the hands of these youngsters. They made a huge profit of £600 and donated it to the homeless greyhounds at Greyhound Rescue Fife. Celia, Jimmy and Billy the greyhound went along to collect the cheque. Billy said " thank you " in greyhound language to all the children. The children donated some of their beautiful pop art paintings to our rescue. These are on display at the kennels. The staff and the greyhounds thank the school and Primary 7 staff and pupils for their wonderful effort on our behalf.
Billy.
How lovely of them! What a great achievement by the pupils, and what beautiful pictures too.
The paintings were absolutely brilliant! If anyone out there has friendly printing contacts, they'd make great GRF Christmas cards.
Nice work. Those kids can be rightly proud of everything they've acheived - well done! And congratulations to their teacher and school for supporting them.
Fantastic achievement by these children. Not only making £600 profit but also donating that to a good cause. Well done, children and your teacher.
How fantastic - the pictures are wonderful and to donate all their profits to GRF - amazing!! Well done to all the children and their teachers.
Well done. The paintings are marvellous.
