Many thanks to the volunteer who suggested I have a look at these two yesterday before I left. Although I hadn't intended taking two I could not resist such a stunning Brother and Sister pair. They were fine in the car despite a 2 hour journey and are coming to terms with their new surroundings. They are like aliens on a new planet, every sight and sound a new experience,making walks an entanglement of leads and clipped heals (I already have a large cut on my knee after being tripped up this morning). Both dogs are lovely and very demonstrative. I'm not used to a Grey continually poking me with a paw or being licked. I'm tired after a night of continually being walked over while in bed but I'll survive. I need to give other dogs a wide berth as Les is desperate to get at anything small and furry. They both want to investigate any barking they hear. I'm very pleased with them and if I can keep them away from the keyboard will give you updates.

What a brilliant and honest description of Les and Livie's first days of home life - you sound like you will do very well with them indeed and they will soon calm down when you set the ground rules and non-negotiables! We wish you great joy
